As our friends and neighbors in Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland, Washington, may know, “Tri-Cities Best” is a program sponsored by the Tri-City Herald to identify and celebrate our area’s best businesses and organizations. These winners are selected by you – members of the communities that we call “home.” We want to give a big thanks to any of you out there who voted for New U Women’s Clinic & Aesthetics. We have been selected as the best medspa and weight loss center in the Tri-Cities for the third year in a row! This is validation to us that our approach to caring for you, your friends, and family members is working. It’s an approach that is defined by the following four characteristics.

Led by double Board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Dr. Rachel Fidino, our team celebrates and optimizes our patients’ natural and unique beauty. When recommending “next steps,” our clinicians account for all personal preferences, needs, goals, behaviors, and habits that can either support or hinder overall health and well-being. No. 2: Proactive NOT reactive solutions
As a passionate women’s health and wellness advocate, Dr. Fidino appreciates the importance and value of always staying at least one step ahead of problems and conditions that can have negative and far-reaching impacts. She knows that it is far easier to protect and prevent than to play “catch-up” and to respond to problems, whether that concern is worsening sun damage, hair loss, weight gain, or chronic fatigue and insomnia brought on by hormonal imbalances. Whenever possible, we partner with patients on “modifiable” factors to minimize the risk of developing distressing physical and/or emotional and mental changes that can affect every aspect of their lives.
No. 3: Caring for the whole person
Truly personalized care involves not just identifying and targeting the symptoms or diagnosis. It means approaching every patient holistically, looking beyond their specific condition and how it may manifest. To achieve real “treatment,” we must consider your needs and personal characteristics. Otherwise, we may just put a Band-aid on the problem. Too often, medicine focuses on providing the patient with a pill to ease symptoms in the short term. But, this approach does not resolve the problem nor empower patients to be the best versions of themselves. We have flipped the script to sustain the changes that add up to a healthier, more rewarding, enriched life.

A woman’s needs are varied and can change with circumstances and the passage of time. So, naturally, our solutions are equally varied and vast. With 12+ years’ experience, Dr. Rachel Fidino is a double board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with national credentials as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and in Advanced Genetics. Dr. Fidino holds a BS from EWU and WSU, an MSN from the University of Cincinnati, and a DNP from MSU. Founder of New U Women’s Clinic, the Healing Hands Project, and LA CANNEBERGE skincare, she championed legislation (SB 5396) to improve women’s health. Named a Young Professional in Business under 40 and 2022 ATHENA Leadership Award recipient, Dr. Fidino is a published author, National Keynote Speaker, and FDA trainer.
