KENNEWICK, Wash. – Combining partnership and platforms, one Tri-Cities woman is using both to help vulnerable and homeless women across Washington State one pad or tampon at a time.
The United States of America’s Mrs. West Coast, Deidra Murphy, said because she’s a native to the area, she loves to give back to her community, especially when the benefits stay local. So, she’s running a statewide women’s hygiene drive through February and into March.
With 12+ years’ experience, Dr. Rachel Fidino is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with national credentials as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and in Advanced Genetics. Dr. Fidino holds a BS from EWU and WSU, an MSN from the University of Cincinnati, and a DNP from MSU. Founder of New U Women’s Clinic, the Healing Hands Project, and LA CANNEBERGE skincare, she championed legislation (SB 5396) to improve women’s health. Named a Young Professional in Business Under 40, a 2022 ATHENA Leadership Award recipient, and one of Tri-Cities’ Most Influential People for 2026, Dr. Fidino is a published author, National Keynote Speaker, and FDA trainer..
