So, we have a lot of men on our weight loss programs, both in person and virtually. Me for one, I see a lot of patients who have tried this and that and this and that throughout the time. Whether it is exercise, diet, with different levels of success. So, we are proud to announce that we are releasing a virtual weight loss program at New U Women’s Clinic & Aesthetics. Given the fact that our weight loss program has become so successful here, we wanted the opportunity to offer that to the rest of the world really. We’ve undergone a rigorous process of transparency within the government, so that we can become LegitScript certified. So, what is LegitScript certification and why is it so important to the success of you on our weight loss program, is that we are fully transparent in everything from where the medications are coming from, the compliancy regulations through the United States, so that by the time that makes it to you, you can utilize the correct medication at the right dose, that it is certified by third party through this LegitScript certification. This is something that you should need to be looking for in any of your virtual providers, and we are glad to say that we are one of, if not the only provider in the Pacific Northwest that can offer that to you.

My biggest takeaway was going to primary care and going to those doctors, and expressing that I did need to lose weight. They just gave me all these medications that you don’t really know. Here’s some, I don’t know, a lot of different appetite suppressors and things like that. And that was my biggest frustration is they were like, “let’s try this”, “let’s try this,” “let’s try this”. And it wasn’t giving me results, and I felt like I was just spending money at doctors’ offices and wasting my time going back to doctors’ offices and getting no results. So, that’s been the biggest thing, is I came here, saw Dr. Fidino, and it wasn’t just a, “Here’s the medication, good luck. Come back to us in a couple of months when it doesn’t work.” It was, “Here’s the medication. We’re going to not hold your hand, but we’re going to give you the tools to succeed at this program.” And so, that’s been the biggest takeaway for me.

Going to the gym every day, running cardio, all these different things, and just nothing was working for me, and I was the biggest I’ve ever been in my life. I think I was around 250 at my max. It was quite a bit of weight. And then I had heard about New U, and a couple of my friends had come here and done the weight loss program and been very successful and lost tons of weight. So, I thought I’d give it a chance. At my peak, I think I was losing probably 10 pounds a week. It was quite a bit, and I just noticed it was falling off of me. So I’ve lost quite a bit. None of my clothes fit. I’ve had to go shopping. It does get expensive ‘cause you have to go shopping for new clothes, but that’s a good thing, and that’s what I think everyone wants to have that problem. I’m really excited about it because I’ve seen a lot of great results and I want to share it with everybody. If you are overweight, if you’re struggling to lose weight, it’s definitely a program that I would highly recommend.
