EBO₂ Therapy (EBOO Therapy)
Advanced Blood Oxygenation & Ozone Therapy for Cellular Optimization
If you are struggling with fatigue, inflammation, brain fog, or chronic symptoms that feel unresolved, EBO₂ therapy may provide foundational support at the cellular level.
At New U Women’s Clinic, we offer EBO₂ (also called EBOO therapy, or Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation) as part of our integrative and regenerative medicine services. This advanced oxygenation therapy is designed to support detoxification pathways, circulation, immune balance, and overall cellular function.
This is not life support.
This is proactive wellness optimization.
What Is EBO₂ Therapy?
EBO₂ therapy is an advanced form of ozone blood therapy that gently oxygenates and filters the blood outside the body before returning it through a continuous IV system.
During treatment:
- Blood is drawn through one IV line
- It circulates through a specialized filtration system
- It is oxygenated and exposed to medical-grade ozone
- The oxygen-enriched blood is returned through a second IV line
Patients often see the visual difference — darker blood as it exits, brighter red as it returns — reflecting improved oxygenation.
This outpatient therapy is performed in a controlled clinical setting and is focused on supporting cellular efficiency, oxidative balance, and detoxification.
Is EBO₂ the Same as Dialysis or ECMO?
No.
EBO₂ therapy is often misunderstood. It is not dialysis and it is not ECMO.
Dialysis and ECMO are hospital-based, life-saving medical treatments used in critically ill patients. EBO₂ therapy is a wellness-based oxygenation therapy used in integrative and regenerative medicine.
A helpful comparison:
Comparing EBO₂ to ECMO is like comparing a hyperbaric oxygen chamber to a ventilator in the ICU. Both involve oxygen — but one supports optimization, and the other is emergency life support.
Another simple explanation:
- Dialysis replaces kidney function in patients with kidney failure.
- EBO₂ therapy does not replace an organ.
- It supports the body’s natural oxygen and detox pathways.
Here is the breakdown:
Dialysis
- Replaces failed kidney function
- Used in kidney failure
- Hospital or dialysis center
- Medically necessary to sustain life
ECMO
- Replaces heart and lung function
- Used in the ICU
- Life support
EBO₂ Therapy
- Wellness-based blood oxygenation therapy
- Used in integrative and regenerative medicine
- Performed in an outpatient setting
- Focused on cellular optimization and oxidative balance
EBO₂ is proactive wellness care — not emergency intervention.
Benefits of EBO₂ Therapy
EBO₂ therapy is designed to support:
- Circulation and oxygen delivery
- Detoxification and toxin clearance
- Liver function
- Immune system optimization
- Reduction of systemic inflammation
- Brain clarity and cognitive function
- Energy and stamina
- Longevity and preventive wellness
This therapy may be beneficial for individuals experiencing chronic inflammation, environmental toxin exposure, persistent fatigue, immune dysregulation, or brain fog.
EBO₂ is often incorporated into broader integrative treatment plans for whole-body optimization.

Proactive wellness begins at the cellular level.
Hey guys, my name is Jason De Leone. I own Lone Star Regenerative Solutions. I’m here at New U, getting them set up with eBoot Therapy. Super excited about that. Getting, uh, this therapy launched to, to their patients. eBoot therapy stands for, or the acronym stands for, uh, Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation, meaning we’re gonna take blood out of the body with one iv. We’re gonna mix that blood with oxygen ozone, and then it’s gonna run past ultraviolet light and different light therapies that we have in the device as well. And then back into another vein. So that whole process is around an hour and a half or so that you’ll be in the chair. It’s super amazing at reducing systemic inflammation. Remember that inflammation equals pain. Uh, the second is it helps improve your mitochondria function, so ultimately helps improve your ATP production, which is the power of our cells. The, the next one it does is balance out your immune system. So it’s immune modulating. So whether you’re a autoimmune condition with an over-functioning immune system, or you’re somebody who’s gone through a long, a long chronic condition where your immune system is not working correctly, then it’ll bring it back up. Ultimately, it’ll bring both patients right back into homeostasis, homeostasis, excuse me, and into balance. So that’s the, the best thing to remember about this therapy. It just brings your body right back into balance in the way it was.
Frequently Asked Questions About EBO₂ Therapy
What does EBO₂ stand for?
EBO₂ stands for Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation. It is also sometimes referred to as EBOO therapy (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozone therapy). This advanced oxygenation therapy supports circulation, detoxification, and cellular optimization.
Is EBO₂ therapy the same as dialysis?
No.
Dialysis replaces kidney function in patients with kidney failure and is medically necessary to sustain life.
EBO₂ therapy does not replace an organ. It is a wellness-based oxygenation therapy designed to support the body’s natural detox pathways and oxygen utilization in an outpatient setting.
Is EBO₂ the same as ECMO?
No.
ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) is a life-support treatment used in the ICU to temporarily replace heart and lung function in critically ill patients.
EBO₂ therapy is a wellness therapy used in integrative and regenerative medicine. It is focused on cellular optimization — not life support.
How does EBO₂ therapy work?
During EBO₂ treatment:
- Blood is drawn from one IV line
- It passes through a filtration system
- It is oxygenated and exposed to medical-grade ozone
- The oxygen-enriched blood is returned through a second IV line
This continuous process supports circulation, oxidative balance, and detoxification pathways.
What are the benefits of EBO₂ therapy?
EBO₂ therapy is designed to support:
- Improved oxygen delivery
- Detoxification and toxin clearance
- Reduced inflammation
- Immune system optimization
- Brain clarity and cognitive function
- Increased energy and vitality
- Liver support
- Whole-body cellular function
Individual results vary and depend on overall health and treatment plan.
What does EBO₂ therapy feel like?
EBO₂ therapy feels similar to IV therapy.
Most patients relax, read, or work during the session. The treatment is monitored in a controlled outpatient setting. Many patients report feeling clearer or more energized after treatment, though experiences vary.
How long does an EBO₂ treatment take?
Treatment time varies based on the protocol recommended by your provider, but sessions typically last between 60–90 minutes.
Your provider will discuss the appropriate treatment length and number of sessions during your consultation.
Who is a good candidate for EBO₂ therapy?
EBO₂ may be appropriate for individuals experiencing:
